Entry 006

Honestly you get two types of crazies in this world, you get the ones that listen to Marilyn Manson and you get the ones that listen to Jerry Falwell. Both of these kinds of people are utter losers but I can say I’d rather hang out with someone blasting Manson from their speakers. It’s like kind of weird how accurate that binary is over here. Do you think they’d ever invent a third kind of crazy? Like I guess they have a psychosis that’s associated with god and then a psychosis that’s without god, but do they have like, a kind of psychosis that’s maybe 90% atheism with a little religion thrown in? Maybe this is the secret to creating music that isn’t fucking annoying. I’ll be sure to tell Adriance that.

I talk about this a lot with the Moms and she says that some people are just born like that, kind of like the way I was.[i]this was super encouraging to hear, of course.. Personally, I dunno. I feel like maybe there is some way that people might feel they need to go down a certain path, but when I take a look at the news it’s like either you give up or you hope some kind of justice is gonna get doled out. So like you either have the power to change a situation or revoke it, and its how you use that power that makes you a crazy. Actually I think that the dangerous part comes out when you’ve got the power to change things and thinking it’s some kind of justice. Like that’s the whole deal with it. It’s all retribution even when normal people think it’s senseless.

I’m not sure if anything is really ever that senseless though. Trying to think about what kind of power you’d need to really make some kind of change either way. I guess to some crazies you can walk down to the Walmart and buy a power for somewhere between twenty and a hundred dollars. Depends where you’re flexing that kind of muscle I guess.

Back onto the previous topic though, is being crazy born or made? I think both. Like some people are born weird or crazy or stupid or ugly etc, but you can also become one of those things. I think people tell themselves that some people are just born fucked up so they can tell themselves that when something bad happens the spaz probably had it coming for being such a fuck-up. Maybe they should’ve thought twice before being such a fuck-up. People don’t really talk about how like, hey, maybe there’s something severely wrong with this person’s brain, let’s make ‘em worse, how that kind of stuff really gets to you. Do you think schizophrenics in Quebec have like a different brain disease than like schizophrenics from Arkansas? I bet. I bet they’re both treated bad in different ways too, but they’re not really given the chance to change their lot. I guess a lot of people can’t.

Whatever. This is a dead-end conversation. It’s late and I got into an argument during room service again. No shortage of hotels if I get given my walking papers. Bummer Summer.
